Read-only view from the iPhone aboard · Under development
Paste the complete shore link shared by the onboard device. If you just added this page to your Home Screen, pair it here once.
On the onboard iPhone, start a watch, open More options → Share with shore (Shore companion on older builds), then share the link.
Relative position diagram · North up · Not a navigation chart
Satellite counts are not available from iPhone location services. The shore device receives the boat position over the internet and does not need GPS.
In the updated Anchor Eye app, choose More options → Use this device on shore, then paste your shared link. Your boat pairing is saved on that device.
Open this boat in Anchor EyeNative background notifications are awaiting service setup. You can use web push below in the meantime.
On iPhone or iPad: Share → Add to Home Screen, then open Anchor Shore and allow notifications. Push alerts can arrive while locked or using another app. Sounds follow device notification and Focus settings.
Checking background notification support…
Keep this page open and the screen awake for live sirens and connection warnings. Background notifications are separate and do not play these repeating sirens. The onboard iPhone remains the primary alarm.
Emergency sirens have a stronger, sustained sound and repeat while a warning remains. Actual loudness depends on your device volume and speakers. Your selection is saved in this browser. Enable sound each time you reopen the shore watch.
Stopping a sound does not disable future shore alerts.
Sound off. This is separate from notification settings on the iPhone aboard.
Anyone with the private sharing link can see the watch position. Bookmark this link for future anchorages. Stop watch or Pause sharing keeps the link. Revoke link on the onboard iPhone permanently removes access. Older links may still expire after 24 hours. Only the latest position is retained for this companion view.
